GENERAL INFORMATION
Globlex holding Management Plc was found on the 9th May 2003, it was established as holding company which as of today holds 99.99% in its subsidiary companies, Globlex Securities Co., Ltd, Globlex Advisory Co., Ltd. and Asia Equity Venture Co., Ltd.
The Business operation of the subsidiary can be classified as such
| (1) | Globlex Securities Co.,Ltd is a core company which was licensed from the Ministry of Finance to operate as a Brokerage firm on the 27th of September 2002. GBS acquired 4 kinds of licenses from the MOF, Securities brokerage license, trading securities license, Underwriting license and Investment Consulting license. GBS is a member of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, brokerage No.25. In the year 2008, GBS also acquired the derivative license as well as private fund license. It has registered capital of 350 million baht. | | (2) | Globlex Advisory Co., Ltd, was established on 13th May 2003 as a SEC licensed financial Advisory company and focuses on investment banking working including financial advisory, corporate and financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, independent financial advisory, valuation, private placement and Public offering. It has registered capital of 30 million baht. | | (3) | Asia Equity Venture Co., Ltd was established on 15th June 2006 with registered capital of 20 million baht. It serves as a venture capital fund company that invests in other businesses which is not related to financial sector. This is to clearly identify the structure of its holding company investment in small/ medium size companies (SMEs) which government has supports and to be certain that the business is beneficial for the country economy and have potential to be listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. |
As of the 31st December 2008, Globlex Holding Management company has asset of about 1,273 million baht with liability of 134 million baht while its Shareholder’s equity value is 1,139 million baht. For yearly operating performance as of 31st December 2008, the company have total revenue 256 million baht, net loss 120 million baht.
